Product Introduction
Wood Plastic Composites (WPC) is a new type of composite material that has flourished both domestically and internationally in recent years. It refers to the use of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, and other materials to replace traditional resin adhesives, mixed with more than 50% of waste plant fibers such as wood powder, rice husks, and straw to form new wood materials. These materials are then processed through plastic processing techniques such as extrusion, molding, and injection molding to produce boards or profiles. Mainly used in industries such as building materials, furniture, logistics packaging, etc. The board formed by hot extrusion of plastic and wood powder mixed in a certain proportion is called extruded wood plastic composite board.
With the research and development of wood plastic composites, plastic raw materials for producing wood plastic composites include not only high-density polyethylene or polypropylene, but also polyvinyl chloride and PS. The process has also developed from the earliest single screw extruder to the second generation conical twin screw extruder, and then to the parallel twin screw extruder for preliminary granulation, and then to the conical screw extrusion molding, which can make up for difficult plasticization, poor aging resistance, poor creep resistance, poor color consistency and durability, and poor tensile strength.
Products that can be made from wood plastic composite materials: grilles, wall panels, wood veneer wall panels, outdoor wall panels, outdoor flooring, suspended ceiling tiles, and other popular decorative materials
